  • The Double Slub Series by Pure Blue Japan features a proprietary 16oz selvedge denim with a pronounced surface texture. This fabric strikes a balance with a moderate 16oz weight, offering a blend of medium-weight feel and heavyweight appearance. Pure Blue Japan employs small-batch production using a low-tension shuttle loom and a deliberate slow weaving technique, ensuring the unique slub texture and consistency the brand is known for. The jeans are completed with custom nickel buttons, a deerskin natural leather patch, and the signature Pure Blue Japan indigofera leaf embroidery.
