- The Elephant Series from Naked & Famous is the brand’s heavyweight denim line, featuring unique heavyweight fabrics. This iteration fuses their super heavyweight Elephant denim with the innovative Colored Core series. Unlike standard denim, which starts with white yarns dyed indigo, this fabric begins with yarn dyed using a permanent reactive red dye, then undergoes a secondary indigo rope-dyeing process. This results in a classic raw denim exterior that fades to a contrasting red with wear. Woven at a hefty 21oz, this is Naked & Famous’s first heavyweight color-changing core denim. The jacket boasts a powerful assortment of texture throughout and comes equipped with heavyweight metallic hardware and an extra-large vegetable tanned leather patch.
